This is an
informal group open
to all: people new
to shamanism and
experienced too. We
will work with
manifestation, using
the attributes of
each moon to bring
focus to issues
relevant to our
lives at this time.
The emphasis is on
aligning our
intention and
clarifying what we
each would like to
focus on during this
moon cycle.
We will work on clearing blocks and learn how to make a shamanic journey.
Come along and experience the amazing transformative effects of a group process
working in synergy with the flow of the moon, the gifts of the seasons and the
teachings offered by each astrological sign.

This monthly
group has been
created at the
request of many to
combine my training
as an Artist with my
training as a
Shamanic
Practitioner and
provide the tools,
encouragement and
equipment to free
creative expression.
This group is
about fun, play and limitless possibilities. Its intention is restoring
self-belief and abracadabra-ing the solar potential of each individual into the
physical every-day living of this dream! We will be working with the map
of the sun signs and every month tapping into the creative opportunities of the
season to support the evolution of everyone's creative potential. Art and
writing materials are at hand...
Inspired by Julia
Cameron’s Artists Way and the studies I have made about how the sun signs can
support the unfolding of our life purpose, this is a group to drop in on or come
to regularly for anyone wanting to realise their sun-shine!
Shamanism and the Archetypes

In this workshop
we work with the
archetypal realms -
the Place of Power
operating between
the human and the
spiritual. We
mix Jungian
psychology with
teachings from Don
Miguel Ruiz (the
author of The Four
Agreements) and meet
the archetypes
through Shamanic
journeying and
creative play.
Bringing the archetypes into consciousness provides a platform for better
understanding of our own natures. Through uncovering the relationships we
have with some of the archetypes we can begin to shine light on patterns that
are recurring in our lives that are looking for healing.
This workshop
will be an
opportunity to step
into the theatre of
our souls and
playfully engage
with the characters
we have set up and
nudge them into a
happier place.
Through individual,
paired and group
process we will
appreciate the
strength of
archetypal dynamics
and empower one
another to make the
small but precise
changes which can
have such an immense
effect on the rest
of our lives.

Foundation Training
Restoring Wholeness – the Shaman’s Craft
The duration of a Year – next registration 24 Sept 2010
The
Foundation Program operates like a treasure hunt through the year, where you
commit to work with the tools of Shamanic practice to find and restore parts
of your hidden nature. You will work with the teachings of the changing
seasons and find ways to engage with the map of the Shamanic Medicine wheel.
The course acts as a beautiful introduction to the World of Shamanism and
provides an opportunity to work deeply with the flow of nature and build a
strong and integral relationship with your spiritual path. It's aim is to
direct you on a path of vibrant self-healing and allow you to safely and
confidently access spiritual teachings by supporting your alignment with the
natural cycles of life and the building of a solid, well-informed and
consolidated shamanic practice.
The course is suitable for those who wish to study Shamanism and get a feel
of the terrain and who are motivated to follow a path of enquiry into how
spiritual healing works. It also acts as a Foundation level for entry to the
Shamanic Practitioner Training with the little red drum. It would equally
support future Shamanic Practitioner training with another qualified
Shamanic Teacher as it is designed to allow your own path with Shamanism to
emerge and define itself. It would also be suitable for Shamanic
Practitioners who wish to deepen their practice of working with the natural
cycles and add this element of practice to the Shamanic work they can offer
to others.
The course is structured as a distance course with mailed course material at
each quarter and correspondence tutoring at the end of each quarter. You can
choose to enrol at the beginning of any season.
The attendance of The Shamanic Calling is a pre-requisite for signing up for
this course. The next course is held on Sept 18th at Synergy, Glenrothes.
This course can also be taught at other locations, if numbers are
sufficient.
The course is priced at an introductory cost of £500 for the year, or may be
paid in 4 equal installments of £130. The cost includes 4 remote sessions
with Carol Day. (as a stand alone each these would cost £50 -65) These can
also be held privately at the Synergy Centre, Glenrothes, the cost of room
hire would then be the only additional charge. It also includes the option
of monthly check-in tuition points (by e-mail, skype or phone).If there are sufficient local candidates,then there would also be scope to arrange quarterly group meetings at
Synergy,where again you would
just be asked to contribute to the room hire fee.
